The Globalstar Sateliite System
AXTracker products transmit real-time GPS location and other formatted sensor data over the Globalstar satellite system - a constellation of 40 low earth-orbiting (LEO) satellites that relay messages to 10 simplex ground stations. These gateways forward data to the Globalstar Network and then to the Internet, giving you and your customers the ability to monitor location and other operational activities through the device's configurable door, motion, and temperature sensors.
This data, including GPS location data, is easily configured to be sent:
- Via scheduled reports based on pre-determined settings whether the asset is stationary or moving
- By utilizing sensor or other external data that is used for detecting exception-based information
